Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Team Lead 1 - Indirect to manage materials handling operations on-site. You will receive, store, and distribute materials, coordinate the team, and train new hires while ensuring safety and efficiency on the assembly line.

Our team emphasizes reliability and process discipline; you will drive 5S practices and help maintain an organized work environment. A forklift zertifikat and experience in material handling are preferred.

Qualifications

You’ll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

The Team Lead -Materials is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment and ensures correct delivery and shipment of materials. This position will coordinate the work of other materials employees and train all new material handler new hires. Act as the forklift driving tester for those employees seeking a forklift driving license.

• Perform work within takt/cycle time


• Perform work per work instructions


• Train and mentor new material handlers on the team


• Monitor/test new forklift drivers and recertifications


• Provide and process movement of material to point of use


• Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material around the assembly line in order and neat


• Inform proper personnel of material shortage


• Check in and place materials from other cells


• Operate forklift


• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area


• Practice 5Ss

What TOOLS You’ll Bring With You
