Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an assembler/shipping clerk to support production flows on non-automated equipment like RF sealers. You will perform material movement, part handling, and cleanup tasks while backing up other roles as needed.

A strong emphasis is placed on safety, accuracy, and teamwork. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift at least 30 lbs, and forklift operation skills.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs and perform basic counting.
• Experience with forklift and pallet-jack operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move WIP from paint lines to WIP Area/Printers.
• Move Finished Goods to WOC Area.
• Supply empty baskets, pallets, trays to production lines.
• Adhere to supervisor instructions and supply lines as needed.
• Operate Burn-Off Oven and Parts Washer as required.
• Maintain production pace and safety standards.
• Practice 6S in the work area.

The Assembler will work on production equipment, not automated, such as RF Sealer and will assist the production areas in various tasks including sorting, counting, 6S activities, replenishing supplies, organizing stock, hanging blades, and assignments. May serve as a backup to other positions at the direction of management; other duties as assigned.

You’ll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

The Shipping Clerk - PPP is responsible for being forklift certified, move all WIP, Finished Goods, and Consumable Parts to needed locations, and to operate the Burn-Off Oven and Parts Washer.

• Move Painted WIP from the paint lines to WIP Area/Printers.
• Move Printed WIP from the print lines to WIP Area.
• Supply Empty Baskets, Pallets, Trays, etc. to all Production Lines.
• Move all Finished Goods to WOC Area.
• Adhere to Supervisor or Lead on supplying all Production Lines or tasks needed.
• Inserting and Removing Racking from the Burn-Off Oven along with the Operation of the Burn-Off Oven and Parts Washer.
• Maintain production pace and standards.
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
• Practice 6S.
