Planet Fitness - Baseline Fitness in Oxnard, CA seeks a Full-Time Customer Service Associate to oversee gym operations and ensure a positive member experience.

You will train staff, supervise front desk tasks, welcome visitors, assist with check-ins, tours, and member inquiries, and help maintain cleanliness and store supplies. This role emphasizes teamwork and customer care within a busy club environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with members and staff.
• Ability to listen to customer needs and resolve questions or concerns.
• Basic computer skills for member accounts and check-ins.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and developing staff.
• Assist in member service oversight making sure all staff provide great customer experience.
• Very involved in front desk related tasks: answering phone calls, taking info calls, assisting with member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, and updating member accounts.
• Greet potential members and provide gym tours.
• Assist to facilitate member service issues and questions.
• Assist with team member management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Help create and maintain a positive image for the club.
• Assist overseeing cleanliness and appearance of gym.
• Assist in managing marketing efforts and train team on promotions.
• Assist in ordering supplies, keeping inventory and tracking reports.

Job Summary

Physical Demands
