Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Team Lead at a child care center in Las Vegas. You will promote child development, manage classrooms, and implement curricula while supporting families and staff.

The role requires leading a team, mentoring new hires, and stepping into Director/Assistant Director duties as needed. Join a community focused on growth, safety, and quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support the center’s success.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow teachers, creating engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Handle duties of Director or Assistant Director in absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator! Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor! Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader! Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert! Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
