Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Team Lead at a child care center to guide classroom activities and support lifelong learning. You will promote growth, maintain licensing standards, and model positive interactions with children and families.

You will mentor new hires, lead curriculum implementation, and assume Director/Assistant Director duties in absence, while contributing to a collaborative, supportive workplace with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits toward Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and center success.
• Mentor new hires and fellow Teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Step into Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening/closing the center.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation. Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator! Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor! Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader! Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert! Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
