Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Team Lead at a child care center to guide classroom activities, manage daily routines and implement engaging curricula for early learners.

This role emphasizes partnership with families, mentoring new hires, and stepping in for Director duties when needed, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a strong commitment to safety and licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits toward Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA preferred.
• Ability to meet state and accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children and manage classroom routines.
• Lead on curriculum implementation and classroom management.
• Communicate with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor new hires and assist with training; step into Director/Assistant Director duties when needed.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator!Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $19.71-$20.48 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
• Monday-Friday work week
