Job summary

L'Oréal Operations in Cranbury, NJ is seeking a Team Lead – Physical Flows Management for a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift. You will steer daily physical distribution flows at our Cranbury fulfilment centre, coordinating order processing, receiving and shipping to deliver accurate, damage-free products to customers.

You’ll direct flow activities, ensure inventory integrity, uphold safety and quality, and onboard both permanent and temporary operators.

Qualifications

• Hands-on operational mindset and clear communication.
• Experience coordinating order assembly, receiving, and dispatch in a high-volume warehouse.
• Background in cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy in WMS.
• Ability to follow SOPs, verify order quality, and resolve bottlenecks on the floor.
• Willingness to work Monday–Friday shift 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift activities across picking, packing, receiving, and staging, managing live WMS transactions and order release schedules.
• Reconcile stock discrepancies and conduct cycle counts, maintaining stock rotation and traceability.
• Model safety behaviours daily, enforcing PPE standards and clean workspaces.
• Train permanent and temporary operators on SOPs, equipment usage, and quality checks.

A Day in the Life

You steer daily physical distribution flows at our Cranbury, NJ fulfilment centre, reporting directly to the Physical Flows Supervisor on the Monday to Friday shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). As part of our global Industry 4.0 transformation across 158 Fulfilment Centres, you coordinate order processing, receiving, and shipping to deliver accurate, damage-free products to our customers.

• Flow Coordination: Direct shift activities across picking, packing, receiving, and staging, managing live WMS transactions and order release schedules to meet customer shipping deadlines.
• Inventory Integrity: Reconcile stock discrepancies and conduct cycle counts in the warehouse management system, maintaining stock rotation and precise traceability.
• Safety & Operational Standards: Model safety behaviours daily, enforcing personal protective equipment standards, clean workspaces, and secure facility practices.
• Team Onboarding: Train permanent and temporary operators on standard operating procedures, equipment usage, and quality checks.

We Are Looking For

You bring a hands‑on operational mindset and clear communication to keep distribution flows moving smoothly. You bring:

• Physical Internal Flows Management: Proven capability to coordinate order assembly, receiving, and dispatch flows across a high-volume warehouse floor.
• Physical Stock Management: Demonstrated background executing cycle counts, troubleshooting stock variances, and maintaining inventory accuracy in warehouse management systems.
• Process Mastery: Track record in following standard operating procedures, verifying order quality, and resolving operational bottlenecks on the floor.
• Continuous Improvement: Practical approach to cutting operational waste, solving daily logistics roadblocks, and improving shift productivity.
• Adapted Communication: Comfort sharing technical floor instructions clearly with team members and coordinating with site supervisors.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role
