Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Team Lead to guide classroom instruction, promote social, physical and intellectual growth, and partner with families to support every child's progress.

You will mentor new teachers, participate in staff training, and, in the absence of the Director, assume leadership duties. We offer flexible schedules, a family-friendly environment, and opportunities for growth across our learning centers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits toward Early Childhood Education or Child Development or a CDA are preferred.
• Ability to meet state/accreditation education and experience requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in your care and lead classroom management.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow teachers, creating engaging learning experiences.
• Step into Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening/closing the center.
• Ensure daily care of each child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator!Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
