Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring Team Lead at a child care center in Texas. The role focuses on guiding teachers, managing classrooms, and delivering curriculum that supports young learners.

You will build strong relationships with families, mentor new staff, and, in the absence of the Director, assume leadership duties to ensure smooth daily operations and compliance with licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility and leading a classroom.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a CDA preferred.
• Able to meet state/accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow Teachers, creating engaging learning experiences.
• Take on Director/Assistant Director duties in absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child following licensing guidelines and company standards.

As a Team Lead, you are a:

• Teacher!Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.Classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule.
• Communicator!Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
• Mentor!Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Leader!Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Expert!Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
