Precision Aviation Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a hands-on Supervisor/Technician to lead a team of technicians in aircraft maintenance operations. The role emphasizes planning work, directing staff, and ensuring safety and quality across tasks.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and familiarity with FAA regulations. A high school diploma and ATL level four technician experience are required.
Physical Demands: Requires standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 75 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Equipment Operated: Ability to operate office machines and equipment and troubleshoot problems with area specialized equipment. Ability to operate Hand tools, lathes, machine shop tools, balance machines.
Work Location: On-Site PAG Office
Protective Equipment Required: PPE as required for area tasks
Potential Hazards: Exposure to materials identified on Safety Data Sheets.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines; attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and/or proprietary intellectual information; excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy; ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language as well as comprehend and apply information contained in technical, operational and supplemental manuals or procedures; If applicable, be trained in or be thoroughly familiar with the inspection, methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment and tools used to perform the maintenance, preventative maintenance, alterations, or required tasks of articles; multi-tasking is a necessity; thorough knowledge of modern office practices and procedures; ability to type with accuracy and speed; ability to maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and to project a positive, concerned image to the public; ability to work without supervision; ability to adjust to rapidly changing circumstances and priorities. Education/Training: Possesses a high school diploma, GED or high school equivalency
Experience: Must have achieved “ATL level four technician” or sufficient experience in the work to be performed.
Certificates/Licenses: Must be certificated as a mechanic or repairman per part 65.
Other: Other duties may be assigned to support other departments, personnel or projects.
