Job summary

AllClear Aerospace & Defense is seeking an Aviation Technician to troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and test aircraft accessory components, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, wheels/brakes, and landing gear. The role requires reading and applying technical data and following approved procedures.

You will disassemble, inspect, repair, replace, and reinstall subcomponents, maintain accurate work orders, and ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001:2016.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
  • Minimum four years of hands-on experience in repair, modification, maintenance and overhaul, testing of hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and test aircraft accessory components including hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Disassemble, inspect, repair, replace, and reinstall subcomponents per manuals and procedures.
  • Document work orders and service performed accurately.
  • Follow FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO 9001:2016 standards in daily work.

Description


Summary

Aviation Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, and testing aircraft accessory components, including pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, electromechanical, wheel and brake, and landing gear systems. Performs the removal, inspection, repair, replacement, and reinstallation of all associated subcomponents in accordance with approved technical data and company procedures. Receives technical guidance and direction, as required, from a supervisor or higher-level technician.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work involves ; disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and test of those components serviced and piece parts by the repair station manual.

  • Applies technical knowledge of aircraft components in determining equipment malfunctions.

  • Applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation.

  • Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturers’ manuals.

  • Will be required to make entries in work order documentation for work performed.

  • Provides other duties as needed and assigned.

  • Understand and perform functions in accordance with FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001:2016 Standards.

Education and Experience


  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.?

  • Minimum four years actual and recent experience in the repair, modification, maintenance, and overhaul, testing of hydraulic.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups.?


Technical Skills


  • Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.

  • May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, etc.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at various levels across the company and customers.

  • Must be able to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.

  • Foreign Language skills desirable
