Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group's Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale seeks a well-rounded Jr. Sous Chef to lead the team member cafeteria, delivering culinary experiences in a refined setting.

Reporting to the Executive Chef of Banquets, you will manage daily kitchen operations, develop menus, train staff, control costs, and uphold food safety and guest service standards; prior culinary experience and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years' experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to meet culinary standards and core service expectations.
• Lead day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure safety and quality across all food production.
• Support menu development, training, and cost control under the direction of the Executive Chef of Banquets.
• Foster teamwork, guest service, and continuous improvement within the culinary division.
