Job summary

Outer Cape Health Services seeks an experienced Primary Care Physician to deliver comprehensive care in outpatient settings within Massachusetts. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and mentor nursing and allied staff in a patient-centered Model.

The role emphasizes same-day access, preventive care, and health equity, with mentorship for new graduates and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency.
• Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
• BLS certification required.
• DEA registration and prescribing authority where applicable.
• Experience with EPIC and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and continuing care in outpatient settings.
• Refer patients to other providers as appropriate.
• Mentor and support nursing and allied staff.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health and Community Health Workers.
• Maintain on-call and weekend coverage as assigned.
• Document timely per organizational standards.
