Job summary

Merakey is hiring Team Associates to support individuals with disabilities in Richmond, VA. This role involves teaching, coaching and modeling to help clients engage in family, neighborhood and community activities, while upholding dignity and documenting daily living tasks.

No experience required—paid training provided. The position is on the 3rd shift with weekends, offering benefits and a pay rate of $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to operate a vehicle with a valid driver's license.
• Prefer 1+ year experience in home health aide or school setting with individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals through teaching, coaching, modeling and accompanying them in activities.
• Promote person-centered care and document daily living activities in a safe environment.
• Assist with activities of daily living and encourage participation in community and family activities.

Position Details

Our Team Associates are responsible for supporting individuals through teaching, coaching, modeling, and accompanying individuals with disabilities so that they are involved in family, neighborhood, civic, cultural, and religious activities and events. In a variety of settings, the DSP will work with individuals with varying degrees of medical and mental health diagnoses and abilities. DSP uphold dignity and respect of individual(s) served by promoting person-centered care while documenting and assisting activities of daily living in a safe and sanitary environment.

No experience required - we provide PAID training.

Earn $16.50/hour

schedule:3rd Shift - with week-ends,Thur, Fri, Sat 11p-9a

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
