Job summary

Merakey in NJ is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our program. No experience required—we provide PAID training and immediate opportunities to help individuals live more independently.

As a DSP, you will follow individual support plans, assist with daily living activities, and support social and communication skills across settings. Pay starts at $18.13/hr, with enhanced pay at $20.13/hr, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license (own transportation preferred).
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• Experience in a home health aide setting or school setting with IDD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Individual Support Plan to support daily living and social skills.
• Assist with daily hygiene and personal care.
• Teach and coach individuals to navigate daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide care across various settings within Merakey programs.
