Job summary

Merakey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals in Chester and Delaware counties. This role offers a base pay of $16.25 per hour with the option to earn an additional $2 per hour for full-time status, plus benefits for full-time roles.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Experience in a home health aide setting or school setting with individuals who have IDD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including hygiene and personal care.
• Support independence by teaching daily living skills such as housekeeping and laundry.
• Encourage, mentor, and coach individuals to reach their personal goals.
• Engage with consumers in diverse settings to create positive memorable experiences.

Our ideal Direct Support Professional candidate will have a strong desire to create long-term impacts on their consumer's lives and enjoy encouraging, mentoring, and coaching others to achieve their goals. Spend your day in a variety of settings making memories with our individuals. By following the Individual Support Plan, you can enjoy your days at the park and sensory gardens, while working on social and communication skills. Enhancing independence by assisting with daily hygiene and personal care. Foster a true sense of pride in your individual, by teaching them to navigate daily living activities, such as housekeeping and laundry.

Earn: $16.25/Hour (Base) + Enhanced Pay Eligible, if full-time role & opting in (Extra $2/Hour) + Benefits Available for Full-Time roles!
