Job summary

Merakey in Philadelphia, PA is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and follow Individual Support Plans to promote independence.

You will assist with daily living activities, hygiene, housekeeping, and social skills in diverse settings, while mentoring and coaching individuals to reach their goals. 18+ and HS diploma required; valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must have a verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Individual Support Plan to assist individuals in daily living activities such as hygiene and personal care.
• Assist individuals with daily living tasks including housekeeping and laundry to foster independence.
• Engage with individuals in community and program activities, encouraging social and communication skills.

Earn $18.25 per hour with the selection of enhanced pay!
