Job summary

BayCare HomeCare in Largo is seeking a Home Health Team Assistant to support scheduling for clinical/therapy disciplines, enter approved time off, and maintain patient records in billing systems. This full-time role requires attention to detail and a service-oriented mindset.

You will verify CPR cards, driver’s license, and auto insurance in staff files, review admission packets, and assist the supervisor with productivity and day-to-day clerical tasks to keep the home health team running

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; equivalent accepted.
• One year of computer-related experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee all clinical/therapy disciplines.
• Enter approved time off and patient Emergency Management Plans into scheduling package.
• Enter and verify vital patient information into billing system; maintain CPR card, driver’s license and auto insurance in files.
• Review admission packets for completeness; assist Supervisor in productivity oversight.
• Add/approve disciplines; enter clinician skills in scheduling system; monitor utilization.
• Assist with daily routine paperwork and clerical duties for day-to-day function.

The Home Health Team Assistant Responsibilities Include

• Responsible for scheduling and oversight for all clinical/therapy disciplines
• The Team Assistant assists in entering approved time off and patient Emergency Management Plans into scheduling package book.
• Enters and verifies vital patient information into billing system, and maintains CPR card, Driver's license and Auto Insurance information in team member files.
• Reviews admission packets for completeness, assists Supervisor in productivity oversight, and works all report as indicated in standard work.
• Adds disciplines as instructed by Supervisor, approves all disciplines, including visit type, enters skills for each clinician in staff management area of scheduling package, monitors utilization, productivity of contract and enters assignment of and updates for case manager for each patient.
• Assists with daily routine paperwork and clerical duties necessary for the smooth day to day function of the unit.

Education

Team Assistant Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Preferred : High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• One year of Computer Related experience
• Preferred healthcare experience
