Job summary

Standard Chartered in New York is seeking an experienced Team Assistant to support the Financing Solutions Managing Director and the Global Banking and SPM teams. You will help manage calendars, coordinate onboarding and offboarding, and ensure high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.

The role involves processing invoices and expenses, coordinating travel, and assisting across departments like Accounts Payable, Global Sourcing and Technology.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience as a Team Assistant or Executive assistant.
  • Experience supporting multiple senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing international multi-leg travel.
  • Action oriented and a team player.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office tools and expenses systems (SAP Concur ideally).

Responsibilities

  • Support Financing Solutions and Global Banking/SPM teams by anticipating admin needs and delivering high-quality stakeholder service.
  • Contribute to simplification of administrative processes and team coordination.
  • Manage calendars and meetings for Managing Directors when required.
  • Provide admin support to the wider Global Banking and SPM team, including RoboAnalyst, My Trips, gifts and entertainment administration.
  • Coordinate onboarding and transfers for new joiners and offboarding for leavers.
  • Disseminate policies, procedures and communications to Global Banking and SPM plus Country COO teams.
  • Perform general administrative tasks and respond to ad hoc requests.
  • Track completion of e-learning and block leave requirements.
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Global Sourcing and Technology to support admin processes.
  • Vet and add new vendors to the vendor-management system.
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payment.
  • Book travel for Managing Directors and senior Global Banking/SPM colleagues through approved vendors.
  • Process expenses promptly and maintain expense records.

Job description

Responsible for efficiently and effectively completing administration management and providing team‑assistant support to the Financing Solutions Managing Director in New York and the wider Global Banking and SPM team, with shared responsibility alongside another team assistant. The role delivers a consistently high level of service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Recruitment Assessments

Expected annual base pay range for the role is 80,000 USD to 100,000 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
