You will own deal commitments, regional demand forecasting, roadmaps, and customer success, traveling ~50% to client sites.
Job Details:
Amazon operates at extraordinary scale across cloud, retail, devices, advertising, logistics, and emerging businesses. Intel technology contributes across that landscape, from developer PCs and edge systems to the infrastructure supporting cloud services and customer workloads.
Team Amazon is looking for a highly motivated, customer-obsessed leader to serve as Intel's AWS Cloud Go-To-Market Sales Director. This commissioned sales role leads Sales Development Account Managers who help AWS sellers, partners, ISVs, and end customers translate business challenges into scalable cloud and AI outcomes.
Your success will not be measured by pipeline alone. It will be measured by the customer problems solved, trust earned, workloads modernized, adoption expanded, and durable value created for customers, AWS, and Intel. You will own quarterly and annual deal commitments, regional demand forecasting, new service and solution development, investment effectiveness, and long-term customer success.
This is a high-energy role for a leader who can think big, dive deep, move with speed, and stay close to the details. You will influence Intel business units and executive leaders with direct customer insight, shaping roadmaps, strategy, and operating mechanisms around what customers need next.
Start with the customer. Build a deep understanding of customer business priorities, technical constraints, buying journeys, and measures of success. Work backward from the desired outcome rather than forward from a product.
Earn and keep trust. Establish durable relationships with customer executives, technical leaders, AWS sellers, partners, and ISVs. Listen carefully, communicate candidly, follow through, and represent customer needs accurately inside Intel.
Turn insight into action. Convert customer signals into clear account strategies, solution plays, roadmap input, and field mechanisms. Ensure customer feedback reaches the teams that can act on it.
Create customer value at scale. Build and scale a substantial pipeline of customers consuming Intel-based AWS services, with emphasis on net-new workloads, cloud migration, modernization, AI, data, and industry solutions.
Lead the full customer journey. Drive opportunities from discovery through validation, commercial alignment, launch, adoption and expansion. Remove friction across organizational boundaries and remain accountable for outcomes after the deal closes.
Invent and simplify. Create repeatable GTM motions, decision frameworks, enablement, and operating mechanisms that make it easier for AWS teams and customers to choose, deploy, and optimize the right solutions.
Think big and prioritize. Set a bold, customer-led vision for Intel cloud GTM while making disciplined choices about where the team, investments, and executive attention can create the greatest customer impact.
Use investment as a customer-value lever. Manage a global multi-million-dollar investment budget with clear hypotheses, guardrails, and success measures tied to customer adoption, business impact, and repeatability.
Dive deep and deliver results. Maintain rigorous pipeline inspection, forecasting, business reviews, and post-investment measurement. Reconcile metrics with customer evidence and act quickly when they diverge.
Build leaders. Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team that demonstrates ownership, curiosity, sound judgment, high standards, and an instinct to serve the customer.
Operate as one team. Mobilize direct staff, regional sellers, Intel account teams, AWS account and specialist teams, partners, and funded roles around a shared customer plan and clear ownership.
Stay close to the customer. The role is expected to involve approximately fifty percent travel.
Work Location: Seattle, WA. This role requires consistent in-person engagement in Seattle and approximately 50% travel to support business needs.
