Qualifications

• Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
• Completion of an accredited PA program.
• Eligible for PA licensure in the state of the assigned campus.
• Current NCCPA certification or equivalent and two years of clinical experience.
• Teaching experience of six months in either a classroom or clinical setting required.

Responsibilities

• Develop syllabi, lectures, exams, and student assessment instruments.
• Deliver course instruction including lecturing and facilitation of learning activities.
• Chair or co-chair at least one course.
• Academic advising of students.
• Collaborate with faculty, medical director, staff and instructional faculty.
• Develop clinical sites and preceptors.
• Admissions activities and application review.
• Lead programmatic activities and committees.
• Demonstrate culturally competent approach to disparities in healthcare access.
