The Division of Data Science and Society at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a fixed-term, open-rank Teaching Professor in Data Science with a focus on AI and its ethical, practical, and societal applications. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses and help expand the AI curriculum.

Formación

• PhD or equivalent terminal degree in data science or related field.
• Demonstrated experience teaching at the college or university level in data science or AI.
• Ability to advise/mentor undergraduate students and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsabilidades

• Teach courses such as DATA 117, DATA 317, and DATA 110.
• Develop and teach new AI courses and learning experiences.
• Collaborate across disciplines to align offerings with evolving AI methods and ethics.
