The University of Vermont seeks an energetic and ambitious individual to coordinate and run the department’s teaching laboratories, including oversight of IACUC teaching protocols for courses with live animals.

Responsibilities include training and maintenance of teaching lab equipment and the supervision of teaching assistants and work study students connected with the teaching laboratories.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science/Biological Science or related field and 3–4 years of related experience.
• Desirable: Master’s Degree in Animal Science/Biological Science and previous teaching experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and run the department’s teaching laboratories, including yearly oversight of IACUC teaching protocols for all courses requiring live animal use.
• Training and maintenance of teaching laboratory equipment; supervising teaching assistants and work study students connected with the teaching laboratories.
