The Department of Animal Sciences at Rutgers University–New Brunswick is seeking a continuing non-tenure track, calendar year Teaching Instructor or Assistant Teaching Professor.

Responsibilities include teaching courses across Pre-veterinary Medicine/Research, Companion Animal Science, and Equine and Production Animal Science options, and developing courses in areas like Animal Nutrition, Genetics, and Physiology.

Qualifications

• Strong background in animal sciences and/or life sciences.
• A DVM or Ph.D. per the qualifications.
• Assistant/Instructor level requires at least 4 years of teaching and related experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in Pre-veterinary Medicine/Research, Companion Animal Science, and Equine and Production Animal Science options.
• Develop and teach undergraduate courses such as Animal Nutrition, Genetics, Pathophysiology, Physiology, Reproduction, and courses on Companion Animal Health and Diseases.
