Job summary

Assistant Clinical Professor (non-tenure track) is a teaching-intensive position in the Department of Family Science and Social Work at Miami University. This faculty member will teach graduate and undergraduate courses on social work on the Oxford and regional campuses; advise students; be engaged in service at the departmental, College, University, and professional discipline levels; and complete other duties as assigned.

This position is eligible for promotion but not tenure.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Social Work or Master's in Social Work (e.g., MSW, MASW, MSSA) plus 5 years post-master's practice experience.
• Consideration may be given to candidates with teaching experience in higher education; doctoral degree in social work or related field; five years post-master's practice; knowledge of Canvas LMS; trauma-responsive assessment/intervention.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate and undergraduate social work courses on the Oxford and regional campuses.
• Advise students and be engaged in service at departmental, College, University, and professional levels.
• Complete other duties as assigned; position eligible for promotion but not tenure.
