Job summary

University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking an Instructional and Farm Operations Coordinator to oversee teaching and production animal IACUC protocols, manage VMF and Horse Farm operations, and support the Bovine Theriogenology Service.

This role supervises farm staff, holds budget responsibility, and serves as the primary liaison between CVM and ANSC for teaching animal coordination, scheduling, and compliance in a biomedical research setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Experience with IACUC protocols for teaching or research.
• At least 5 years in education, training or work with production animals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee teaching and production IACUC protocols for VMF and Horse Farm.
• Supervise farm staff and student workers; manage budgets.
• Coordinate scheduling and liaison between CVM and ANSC for teaching animals.
• Support Bovine Theriogenology Service with scheduling and record management.
