Job summary

Martin Luther School in Plymouth Meeting, PA is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support teachers and students in achieving academic, behavioral, and social goals. The TA actively participates in teaching and clinical services meetings and helps create environments where students feel safe to engage.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, and a preferred Bachelor's degree in psychology or related fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Sociology or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one supervision of a child.
• Coordinating work within the school or a Residential Treatment Program.
• Complying with operating policies and procedures established for the assigned function.
• Maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.
• Responsible for running groups and assisting students to problem solve and reinforce positive behavior.
