Job summary

Martin Luther School in Plymouth Meeting, PA is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to support students with autism. You will assist with instruction access, emotional regulation, and daily school routines to foster independence and participation.

You will work under the classroom teacher and Student Advisor, implementing academic and personal-care supports, while contributing to a safe, inclusive learning environment aligned with the UNITED values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• SCM training, trauma-informed practices, Positive Behavior Support, or restorative approaches are preferred.
• Experience in educational/support roles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct student support to meet individual needs per IEP or support plan.
• Support self-regulation, social-emotional & behavioral goals using Positive Behavior Support strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, student advisors, clinicians and staff to ensure coordinated support.
• Maintain student safety, follow policies, document data, and protect confidentiality.
