The ACCT 340 Teaching Assistant position at American University is available to enrolled AU students. The TA will hold virtual office hours for up to 5 hours per week through the Final Exam, and communicate with students via Canvas and email.
The TA will notify students in advance of changes and coordinate with faculty on concepts needing attention. This role requires good academic standing, completion of ACCT 340 with a B+ or higher, and proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

The responsibilities of the ACCT 340 Teaching Assistant are to hold virtual TA Office Hours to assist enrolled students for up to 5 hours per week up to the Final Exam, and communicate with students regarding scheduled TA Office Hours through Canvas and email. The TA is to notify students in advance if a change in scheduled TA Office Hours is needed and communicate with faculty regarding concepts or applications that may need additional attention during class meetings based on student feedback/questions.
Part-time.
5 hours per week.
Salary Range: $18.40 - $20.00 per hour.
