Job summary

Vida Education is seeking Teaching Assistants to support teaching staff and learners in local schools. The role involves assisting with lesson delivery, preparing classrooms, and helping students one-to-one or in small groups.

You will help create an inclusive learning environment and support both teachers and students to succeed. Applicants should have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or at least 1 year of TA experience, with confident communication and references.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or at least 1 year of TA work experience in a school setting.
• Confident communication skills and ability to motivate students in 1-2-1 or small group settings.
• Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS (cost covered).

Responsibilities

• Support the teacher with lesson delivery and classroom setup.
• Manage behaviour and engage students in their learning.
• Work with students one-to-one or in small groups, both inside and outside the classroom.
