Milford Public Schools at Stacy Middle School in Milford, MA, is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year.

This 7:45–2:15 schedule supports students with and without disabilities in an inclusive setting; positions require high school diploma, SEI endorsement preferred, and experience with English language learners.

Starting September 2026, the salary ranges between $19.10 and $24.92 per hour, per contract, depending on experience and certification.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • SEI Endorsement preferred.
  • Experience working with students with and without disabilities.
  • Experience working with English Language Learners
  • Bilingual preferred
  • CPI training preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of building administration, Special Education teachers, and classroom teachers.
  • Assist small groups and/or individual students with progress toward academic, social-emotional, and/or behavioral goals within the classroom, with guidance provided by the teacher.
  • Communicate and collaborate with teachers.
  • Provide direct instruction in an inclusion classroom or small group setting.
  • Ability to modify curriculum.
  • Maintain confidential information.
  • Collect data on student performance as needed.
  • Assist students with daily living/self-help skills.
  • Attend and participate in training opportunities as directed; and
  • Perform supervisory duties, as assigned by school administration.

Location:Stacy Middle School

Schedule:2026-2027 School Year – Hours 7:45 – 2:15

Salary:Per Contract $19.10 – $24.92 hour based on experience & certification
