Job summary

Oasis Academy Parkwood is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support teaching staff and learners. You will assist with planning, preparation and delivery of lessons, both whole-class and individual, and prepare resources to support activities while ensuring pupils are supported pastorally.

You will contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure learning needs are met, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 GCSEs at C or above including English and Maths.
• Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
• Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff.
• Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students.
