Position Overview

Teacher Assistants / Apprentices will assist K-5 Classroom Teachers at Classical Schools in implementing a Core Knowledge curriculum. Homeroom subjects include Language Arts (Spalding or Riggs Phonics), Mathematics (Singapore), American / World History and Geography, Science, and Chess. Assistant teachers play a vital role in engaging students in a rich curriculum and are provided with significant teaching opportunities and professional development activities aimed at preparing them for future lead teaching roles.
