Job summary

Paterson Public Schools is seeking a New Jersey World Language (Spanish) Teacher certified educator to provide Spanish instruction to elementary and/or middle school students. The position is split between School #28 and School #12, requiring collaboration with staff, parents and community partners to foster student growth.

The successful candidate will implement effective instructional practices, analyze data to drive instruction, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• New Jersey World Language (Spanish) Teacher Certification.
• Knowledge of the NJSLS and NJSLA.
• Effective instructional practices and strategies.
• Ability to analyze and use data to drive instruction.
• Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good moral character.
• Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and respect others.
• Must be computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community.
• This position is split between School #28 and School #12. The successful candidate will be assigned to both schools.

Responsibilities
