Job summary

Sylvan Learning Center in Michigan is seeking an instructor to lead small groups in Reading, Math, Writing, Study Skills, SAT/ACT prep and more. You will motivate students, provide instant feedback, and help them stay on track to reach their goals in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Pay starts at $14.00 per hour with raises after 100 hours. Shifts are M-Th 3:30–7:30pm and Sat 9:30am–12:30pm, with flexible hours to fit your class schedule.

Qualifications

• Education background: in an education degree program (sophomore+), or a related degree.
• Previous teaching/tutoring is a plus, but we’ll train you!
• Great communicator, organized, and eager to help students succeed.
