Sylvan Learning Center is seeking enthusiastic K-12 teachers to support elementary through high school students in Reading, Writing, and Math. We use pre-planned lessons and small groups of up to three students, with flexible scheduling.
This role emphasizes in-person teaching, with shifts in the afternoon or Saturday mornings, and opportunities to assist homeschool families in the mornings. A four-year degree or equivalent is required, and state teaching credentials are preferred.
Sylvan Learning Center is looking for fun, dedicated teachers to help and inspire students. We are currently looking for elementary, middle school, and high school teachers able to support a variety of grade levels in Reading, Writing, and Math. Special attention to teachers with Early Literacy Background, SAT Prep experience, and Higher Level Math.
Additional subjects we occassionally need support in: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French, or Spanish
Sylvan creates individualized learning plans for students of all abilities. Working with well-behaved groups of only three students, our tutors are responsible for leading instruction and motivating students to be successful.
