Job summary

The Lake Tahoe School is seeking a Substitute Teacher for Pre-K to maintain a structured classroom when the regular teacher is away. You will deliver planned activities, support early learning, and help children stay on task across grade levels from kindergarten through 8th grade.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, Nevada teaching credentials as needed, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly to various classroom settings and grade levels.

Qualifications

• Satisfy Nevada Registry, licensing, and certifications for Pre-K childcare.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Valid substitute teaching permit or teaching certification (as required by state/district)
• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom settings and grade levels
