Position: Student Support Services/Skills

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree required
  2. MN teaching license in DCD or ASD, with multiple special education licenses preferred, OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willingness to obtain an Out of Field Permission.*
  3. If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2.*

Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each scholar with confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to the community; and engage in lifelong learning. Responsibilities include providing instruction, developing individual scholar goals, evaluating performance based on IEP objectives, maintaining records, communicating with guardians, classroom management, enforcing conduct rules, implementing district and school goals, providing various modes of learning, and collaborating with colleagues. Willingness to participate in leadership activities is also expected.

Special Education Classroom Teacher
