Job description

Open position at our preschool located in West Hills, CA.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assist the lead teacher in classroom instruction based on predefined curriculum.
2. Maintain a safe and organized environment for children.
3. Support the physical, social, cognitive, and educational development of children.
4. Help plan lessons and daily activities aligned with child development principles.
5. Record observations on student development and communicate findings to the lead teacher.
6. Assist in evaluations and report creation.
7. Provide comfort and support to distressed children with compassion and tact.
8. Support children during lunchtime, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
9. Change diapers and assist children with personal hygiene.
10. Supervise outdoor activities to ensure children's safety.
11. Step into the lead teacher's role in their absence.
12. Record attendance and update school database.

Optional: Hebrew speaker.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Assist in classroom instruction and environment maintenance.
• Support children's development across multiple domains.
• Help with lesson planning, observations, evaluations, and safety supervision.
