Job summary

Celebree is seeking an educator to support our classroom environment in a Full Time role. You will help create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and maintain a welcoming space for children, parents, and visitors.

You'll collaborate with the Lead teacher and Director to ensure safety and compliance, communicate regularly with families, and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere in our Celebree Schools family.

Qualifications

• Experience in child care industry preferred.
• Ability to follow Celebree curriculum and lesson planning.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized classroom and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing classroom in compliance with regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Maintain attractive and current classroom displays and a Parent Board that is regularly updated.
• Assist in creating and implementing timely age-appropriate lesson plans and managing smooth transitions.
• Supervise children during activities and use positive discipline techniques as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the classroom and surroundings.
• Complete classroom paperwork as required and communicate with parents on development and happenings.
• Identify opportunities or problems and work with Lead teacher to resolve them.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative Parent Board that is updated regularly.
• Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree's curriculum; Assists in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
• Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
• Communicates effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and Director to resolve.

Requirements

Education/Experience: Experience in child care industry preferred
