Job summary

The YMCA of Central Texas in Round Rock is seeking a Full-Time Teacher’s Aide to support teachers at the Child Development Center and help guide kids through the daily curriculum.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, serving children from 8 weeks to 5 years. You’ll assist with art projects, meals, diapering, singing, and maintaining a clean, safe classroom environment. The YMCA offers a $500 new staff bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Genuinely interested in a career in early childhood education
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting

Job description

The YMCA of Central Texas is currently seeking candidates to join us at our Child Development Center in Round Rock as a Full-Time Teacher’s Aide. You’ll be supporting all of our Teachers as they guide their kids through the daily curriculum.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Available shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Our Center works with kids from 8 weeks through 5 years old
• You’ll have the opportunity to work with children across all age groups, supporting their daily routines and activities.
• Responsibilities include assisting with art projects and mealtimes, diaper changing and toileting, singing songs, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and helping create a fun, safe, and nurturing learning environment.

$500 Bonus for New Staff!

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
