Job summary

The YMCA of Central Texas in Round Rock is seeking a Full-Time Teacher’s Aide to support teachers at the Child Development Center and help guide kids through the daily curriculum.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, serving children from 8 weeks to 5 years. You’ll assist with art projects, meals, diapering, singing, and maintaining a clean, safe classroom environment. The YMCA offers a $500 new staff bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Genuinely interested in a career in early childhood education
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting

Responsibilities

• Assist with art projects and mealtimes
• Support diaper changing and toileting
• Sing songs with children
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Help create a fun, safe, and nurturing learning environment
