Job summary

Celebree Schools in Bel Air, MD is seeking caring staff to support classroom operations and provide a welcoming environment for children, parents, and visitors.

You will help plan age-appropriate activities, supervise youngsters, maintain safe and clean spaces, and collaborate with the lead teacher to ensure regulatory compliance and a positive learning experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in child care industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with regulations, company standards, policies and procedures.
• Provides a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents and visitors.
• Aids in maintaining attractive and current classroom displays and an educational and informative Parent Board updated regularly.
• Assists in creating and implementing timely, age-appropriate lesson plans and managing effective classroom transitions.
• Supervises children during activities and uses positive discipline techniques as needed.
• Ensures classroom appearance, cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Communicates effectively with parents, providing regular updates on child development and classroom happenings.
• Identifies opportunities or problems in the classroom and works with Lead teacher and Director to resolve.

Education

Experience in child care industry preferred

Essential Functions:

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and

• Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative

Parent Board that is updated regularly.

• Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating

in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum;

• Assists in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate

discipline techniques.

• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
• Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
• Communicates effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner,

giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom

happenings.

• Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and

Director to resolve.

Requirements

Education/Experience: Experience in child care industry preferred
