Job summary

Elevation Healthcare seeks a licensed Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in Deer Valley, AZ for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time contract role requires AZ licensure or eligibility and a strong commitment to supporting students who are blind or visually impaired.

You will collaborate with general and special education teams, adapt materials, and write IEPs while serving in-person at school sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education with certification in Visual Impairment.
• Arizona Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification (or eligibility).
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students who are blind or visually impaired
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and independence
• Adapt educational materials and teach the use of assistive technology
• Support students in both academic and functional skill development
• Write and implement IEPs, track progress, and maintain documentation

We are actively recruiting for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to serve in a full-time role in the Deer Valley, Arizona area for the 2026–2027 school year. All applicants must be a licensed Teacher of the Visually Impaired in the state of Arizona and hold or be eligible to obtain an AZ Educator Certificate.
