The Division of District Talent Systems works to support districts with the development of systems for identifying and rewarding great teachers, including work related to the Teacher Incentive Allotment, T-TESS, and other strategic compensation efforts.
The Teacher Incentive Allotment System Development Specialist will play a critical role in providing a pathway for outstanding Texas teachers to earn six-figure salaries and in supporting the implementation of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA). This specialist will provide technical assistance to districts in designing, applying for, expanding, and renewing their TIA local designation systems. As part of the implementation of the Teacher Incentive Allotment, this individual will be a key contributor to the overall support provided to districts and Education Service Centers.
This position reports to the TIA Student Growth and Assessment Manager.
This position requires up to 10% travel, based on business needs, to support program initiatives, collaboration, and operational priorities.
Flexible work location within the state of Texas may be considered for qualified candidates.

The top half of the posted salary range is generally reserved for candidates whose qualifications exceed the role's requirements. The maximum of the range is typically reserved for candidates who significantly exceed the required and preferred qualifications.
