Job summary

Sylvania in Tucson is seeking a temporary intervention supervisor to oversee students assigned to in-school disciplinary interventions at Tucson High Magnet School. The role is a 1.0 FTE position with a 9.5 month calendar and hours up to 7.5 per day.

The assignment ends at the close of the 2026-2027 school year. Salary will be prorated if starting after calendar days; internal candidates will transfer per bargaining language. Applicants must hold the required AZ teaching cert and IVP clearance.

Qualifications

• Arizona Teaching Certificate (excluding Special Ed and CTE).
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Age-Appropriate Arizona Teaching Certificate (excluding Special Ed and CTE)
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE

• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

COMMENTS

Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

Location: Tucson High Magnet School 6th St. & Euclid Area

FTE : 1.0 -7.5 hours per day

Work Calendar:9.5 month

This position is a temporary assignment for external applicants only and ends at the end of the current 26/27 school year.

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
