Position Overview:
We are currently seeking energetic, dependable, and flexible Resource/Floater staff members to join our team. This individual should be warm, nurturing, and adaptable, with the ability to confidently support multiple classrooms throughout the school. Our ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working with children of various ages, communicates well with others, and is willing to jump in wherever support is needed throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classrooms throughout the school as needed, including assisting with coverage, transitions, breaks, and daily classroom routines
- Maintain a positive, safe, and engaging environment for children
- Provide nurturing care and supervision while supporting classroom teachers
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, understanding that each day may look different
- Assist with classroom management, daily activities, and implementation of lesson plans as directed by lead teachers
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families, coworkers, and administration
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health and safety standards
- Demonstrate initiative by identifying classroom needs and offering assistance proactively
- Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth through positive interactions

Educational Qualifications:
All candidates must meet one or more of the following qualifications, in addition to any state and/or local licensing requirements:
- Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting preferred
- A CDA (Child Development Associate) or Early Childhood Credential is preferred
- Current enrollment in an Early Childhood Education program is welcomed
- Associate's degree (PREFERRED) or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred
