Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (or actively pursuing) and eligibility to enroll in a teacher certification program.

Responsibilities

Deliver instruction based on lesson plans and learning objectives, using appropriate instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs.
Cover classrooms campus-wide when the assigned teacher is absent
Manage student behavior and classroom routines
Take attendance and complete required documentation
Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, families, and campus leadership.
Work collaboratively with experienced teachers to strengthen instructional planning and classroom practices
Communicate with administration on coverage needs
Attend required staff meetings and professional development
Step into full-time teaching roles as openings arise
Perform any other duties as assigned
