Job summary

Snoqualmie Valley School District seeks a certificated Teacher for grades K-5 on a 1.0 FTE Continuing contract, starting 8/19/2026. Salary range $68,707 to $135,620 annually.

Using Washington State standards and district curriculum, the teacher delivers high-quality, differentiated Tier I instruction, analyzes student data, and collaborates to provide Tier II supports. This position includes benefits eligibility and participation in the district's MTSS and family communication.

Salary: $68,707 - $135,620 per year (2025-26 SVEA Salary Schedule *2026-27 TBD). Salary range based on 1.0 FTE.

• Required: Valid Washington State certificate with appropriate endorsement required (students may submit a note stating when certificate is expected).

The certificated teacher, supported by building and district leadership, fosters a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth. Using Washington State standards and district-adopted curriculum, the teacher delivers high-quality, differentiated Tier I instruction tailored to diverse learner needs. Collaborating with colleagues, they analyze student data to identify those needing Tier II supports and provide targeted interventions. The teacher also communicates progress with families, builds positive relationships, and actively contributes to the school's Multi-Tiered System of Supports to ensure equitable outcomes for all students. Benefit Eligibility

• Insurance: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, basic life insurance, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance provided the assignment is anticipated to work at least 630 hours per year.*
• Retirement Plans: This position is eligible for a 403(b) TSA Retirement Savings Plan.
• Paid Holidays: This position is not eligible for paid holidays.
• Paid Time Off: Certificated employees receive 12 sick days and 2 discretionary personal leave days each school year. Sick leave and discretionary personal leave days are based on scheduled hours and position start date.

Eligibility for benefits is determined by the number of hours employees are anticipated to work during the school year (September 1 through August 31). Any employee who is scheduled to work 630 hours or more in a year is eligible for benefits.
