Job summary

Chapman University is seeking a Teacher Education Fieldwork Manager to lead day-to-day fieldwork operations, supervise a team of supervisors and staff, and coordinate district partnerships for multiple Teacher Education pathways. The role advises on credential requirements and ensures timely placements and accurate fieldwork data.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills to plan and prioritize fieldwork placements and credential applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for candidate, faculty, and district collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and enterprise systems.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Attention to detail with ability to enforce program policy and timelines.
• Ability to learn PeopleSoft, ImageNow, Tevera/ELC, and related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fieldwork and student teaching operations across programs and pathways.
• Supervise and develop the coordinator, university supervisors, and student workers.
• Coordinate district partnerships and placement efforts for field experiences.
• Ensure eligibility, enrollment, and accurate fieldwork data for reporting.
• Design orientation, training, and ongoing professional development for supervisors.
• Communicate credential requirements and timelines with candidates and faculty.
